10KG MALTBYS STORES SUET PELLETS WITH INSECTS WILD BIRD FOOD

Good
These are better than others I have used, not so powdery as others, slightly firmer with a lot less waste.
The birds like these a lot, sometimes even turning their noses up at the worms alongside them !!!!!!
Good price with a good delivery time, I'm using Maltbys more and more for my bird food as the product seems to be better than most.
Birds love it
Great product and great service and delivery. The birds cant wait to get to it, and the starlings are feeding their young with it at the moment.
Birds prefer them
I have put these out along with insect pellets from Twootz and the birds in my garden pick these out from the mix before going on to the others. They would get 5 stars if the price was more in line with the Twootz but despite this they are the preferred purchase at present

20KG SACK OF SUPERIOR MIX NUT FREE BIRD FOOD

Very good value mix
I have been using a more expensive mix of two brands and have a good range of birds in the garden (see list below). Using the new mix I have retained all the current birds plus we have attracted Black Caps for first time. The mix works well on the ground or bird table. It is one of the cheapest but one of the best mixes I have found. Highly Recommended.

Blue tit
Great tit
Long tailed tit
Robin
Yellow hammers
Pheasant
Black birds
Chaffinch
Greenfinch
Goldfinch
Sparrow
Song Thrush
Collard Dove
Wild bird seed mix popular in my patch!
Used this seed mix for several months now and the garden has a huge variety of birds visiting. I also use fat balls and nyger seed, and put out apples and stale bread. This combination works for all the different birds, including a jackdaw with one leg - I hide food in places only he looks! And most surprisingly, a magpie with one wing - he hops about and hides under the bushes and can perch on low shrubs. Both the injured birds seem healthy apart from their missing bits and to catch and check them would I think only add insult to injury. We have a baby hare in the garden too who loves the larger seeds.

So I give this product a thumbs up. As for those who find the birds eating habits messy and are bothered by the seedlings, perhaps wild gardening isn't for you. Nature just isn't tidy! Let some of the plants mature - you never know what might come up! Goldfinches love the seedheads of some of the naturally sown plants, and some of them are quite attractive! Bonus!
Bird seed
It was as advertised. Good seed that kept the birds happy.I have ordered more form them. Quick delivery too. They do other great stock too.

The seed it great for a number of birds as I have about 21 different kinds. All the song birds love it, I even have a few larger birds who come for it.

Well worth the money a must have.

Wild Bird Dried Mealworms 3ltr

The birds in my garden LOVE these!
The birds in my garden absolutely LOVE these dried mealworms.
No need to soak them, I just scatter them on the ground and the bird-table and they attract a variety of birds. I see robins, thrushes, blackbirds, sparrows, starlings, bullfinch, chaffinches, coal-tit and some other finches and tits that I have not yet identified. All the birds seem to love these mealworms.
I feel I have to ration them as the birds will eat as many as I want to put out.
I usually put 1-3 handfuls on the table and then cover with a standard wild-bird seed to make the birds work at least a little bit.

I have tried live mealworms, but they are a real hassle to store, and even to put out, they dont hang around the table.. To be honest, I think the birds prefer these dried ones.

I last year I bought dried mealworms from the RSPB site but prices seem to have increased dramatically this year. Certainly at the moment the price from this supplier is good value. Packaging was...
special treat for your feathered friends
My sister has chickens and uses mealworms as a protein treat for her "girls". She sprinkles a small amount of mealworms in amongst the drift wood and stones that are in their fenced in area and the chickens go searching and digging for them.

The meal worms provide a high protein and high energy boost for any bird and are, therefore, worth considering for your feathered friends, domestic and wild, especially in the winter months when natural insects are hard for them to find.

Fortunately, the chickens seem to keep the voracious starlings away, so the smaller birds (sparrows, dunnocks, wrens, chaffinches, robins, etc) get to pick up the spare that the chickens can't find.

Mealworms are usually the larvae of the black meal beetle, but can be from the yellow meal beetle. It is possible to grow your own if you want to, but these dried meal worms are a good substitute.

You can use these dried from the tub (as we do) or rehydrate them by soaking...
Dried mealworms. Easy or what?
Forget all you read about dried mealworms not being the real thing. Rehydrated for 15 mins in warm water and the birds enjoy them and wait for their quota each morning and evening. These particular brand are good quality, with large worms and not a crumbled mess. [My previous experience when buying through the post has not been very successful]. They come at a reasonable price in a very good range of tub sizes and delivery was spot on.

I will certainly continue with this product as it is an all round succes with me and my feathered friends!

Bird Feeding Station Garden Ornament

Excellent product
Excellent product. Simple to put together and gives me hours of enjoyment watching all the bird activity around it. Highly recommend product and seller.1st class service received.
Wonderful Bird Station
"Excellent". Great addition to any garden. Excellent quality and value. Also very easy to assemble and has many varied options eg height and arrangement of feeders, water tray etc. My favorite buy!
Good value for money
For such a cheap item I was surprised at how smart this feeding station is. It all goes together easily and can be customised with the different accessories depending on which foods are being used.
There was a fault with the first one I received, but the seller very promptly replaced it and now I am very happy with the product, and so are my garden birds!

25KG SACK OF PEANUTS FOR BIRD FOOD

Birds do not discriminate!
These peanuts were a considerable bargain compared to the ones I normally purchase - but alas both we and the birds are having to economise. The peanuts arrived well packed and on time, but on opening I find that they are not nearly the same quality as I had previously, leading me to concerns about the effect on the birds - possible diseases etc. There are a few almost black nuts here and the size is fairly small. However, I duly put them in the nut holders and the birds are streaming in, and they seem unconcerned about the quality and size, and the level in the holders is going down just as fast as before. The squirrels love them when they can get at them! Perhaps I shall just have to accept a downgrading of my Bird Hotel rating from 5 to 4 star - but my guests do not seem to mind!
Bird feed
Speedily sent when bought from Amazon and the birds love them. They seem to me to be smaller than previous so the birds are emptying the feeders more quickly. Larger ones next time please for 5 stars.
Birds go nuts
Excellent value; delivered to the house, the sack contains sufficient peanuts to last the tits and woodpeckers through the winter: much better than buying little packs in shops. High quality nuts, or at least the birds seem to think so. Attracts an interesting variety of birds including nut-hatches. Very well packed in strong sacking with plenty of air holes.

Chapelwood Wild Bird Suet Balls 75 Box

Gone in 60 Seconds!
Well, not quite gone in 60 seconds, but the birds couldn't get stuck in quickly enough! They absolutely love these suet balls! I have two large feeders that hold 20 of these in total, and they were scoffed in just a day and a half! You'd think that that was all I was feeding them with, but I put out a whole range of foods. My only concern is...how on Earth do I keep up the supply?! Highly recommended.
Suet Balls
Good product, birds seem to enjoy them! There are no plastic nets on suet balls which are good if you put them into a feeder, creating less waste.
same but more
The same lovely quality suet balls as in the 50 tub only more. Works out slightly cheaper though you do get a bit of breakage in the box. The birds don't lose out , just put the crumby bits on the bird table. Great value way to buy.

25 kg Dawn Chorus Original Flavour Wild Bird Seed Mix

Its feeding time
Birds not as keen as with other brands
There appears to be a lot of wasted food
There appears to a lot of "filler" in this product
Great seed
Good quality bird seed and not messy. All different types of birds will eat this and very quickly! This was great value when I purchased it and it will last a long time. Thanks very much.
Yummy
Plenty of birds in garden when we put this out. The sparrows seem to like it best, with doves and pigeons also taking their fair share.

10KG MALTBYS STORES NIGER SEED WILD BIRD FOOD NYJER

fantastic
Huge bag of nyger seed at a great price, and some very happy finches. I have two feeders and this should keep them full for six months or more
Very popular
This is my second 10 kg bag of Nigerseed within 5 weeks from this seller. We have a resident flock of Goldfinches and the nigerseed is disappearing very fast, so no complaints from them. Also the bag is much better value than buying smaller quantities from a petshop.
Niger seed
Good quality seed at a good price. The Goldfinches love it. I've used it all this season, and have had a garden full of every variety of small bird.

20Kg Wild Bird Seed, Bird food

My favourite bird seed.
I've been using Seed Supreme for years. My garden birds make short work of it and I haven't found another brand which seems to work as well. By that I mean this one doesn't fly all over the place in the wind. Summer or winter, they get through a sack a month using two feeders.
Charlies had the best price I have found, short of BOGOFs and so as long as they keep that I'll be coming back for more. My birds demand it!
bird seed
This is a very good product, the birds are certainly enjoying it.It has a good variety of seeds and corn in it.I would buy it again.
Birds seemed to be OK with it
What arrived wasn't what was shown in the image but an "in-house" version of the product (I assume anyway). Lots of large grains, and the birds weren't too taken with them, but they still scoffed it, just discarding what they didn't want. Now have all sorts of fun stuff growing around the bird feeder....

Gardman 25L Wild Bird Feed Storage Bin

no more mice able to get my bird feed :)
This is a really large storage tim but it's great as now the pesky mice in my shed can't chew their way through this to get to my bird feed. It also prevents me getting scared when the mice jump up at me. Fast delivery too.
On a completely separate thing - my kids love the large cardboard box it arrived it :)
flummox the squirrels.
The Gardman 25L Wild Bird Feed Storage Bin is excellent for storing the dog's food and the wild bird seeds.
Actually bought it to store the chicken feed but need a larger size, still managed to flummox the squirrels
and mice in the shed who had gnawed there way through the toughened plastic bin .
Great storage
Sturdy and water tight - and in this deep freeze the lid has not got stuck.

10KG SACK OF SUNFLOWER HEARTS - BIRD FOOD

I Will Soon Be Bankrupt
These clearly delicious little gems are gobbled up by seemingly the entire population of all species of garden birds residing in the South of Wiltshire !
Why, even my local woodpigeon attempted to hang on the feeder for his share. An entire family of Greater Spotted Woddpeckers come daily and I feel quite honoured.
So popular are they with all and sundry that I expect to go broke before very long, as the entertainment provided by all of the scoffers outside my window is so top notch that I have no hesitation in replenishing them daily.
Beats watching TV but be warned if you buy, they will eat far more than you have previously estimated.
Good Quality Seed
I have bought other sunflower seed bird food in the past and it was obviously substandard with some hearts small and brown in colour. These sunflower hearts were top quality and the birds were queueing up to scoff them at my feeders.
If You Want to Win the Hearts of the Birds in Your Garden, Look no Further
Sunflower hearts have to be one of the best value pure bird foods I have ever bought, probably only matched in popularity by peanut granules and mealworms in our garden. I feed them from an ordinary hanging feeder and also ensure a good supply is available in both a ground feeder and directly on the lawn.

Sunflower hearts are Sunflower seeds with the outer husk removed, which makes it easier for the birds to eat them and also results in significantly less waste on the ground around the feeders. You may not notice the difference if your feeder is over grass but it'll be huge if over a patio.

Black Birds seem to prefer to peck from the lawn, as do Collared Doves and Pigeons; Magpies and Crows like the ground feeder, the Robins flit between all three but the smaller birds mostly like the hung feeders.

I tend to buy the larger 20Kg sacks of sunflower hearts as they are very popular and that size is generally the most economical - it is, however, always...

Born in Sweden Window Bird Feeder

Close up and Personal
Great birdfeeder. Unlike previous purchases this one stays firmly fixed to the window (yet is easy to move) and has given us hours of close observation. Not surprised it won an award. Well worth the money and a great gift.
Best window feeder I have used
I realise my experience may not be typical of all users, but hope the following is helpful to some.
The first window feeder I used was the Meripac Window Feeder Whilst it was successful, it attracted pigeons and magpies which could easily sit on it, and the feeding tray was usually empty within 30 minutes. Also, large birds invariably knock off the fat balls. I therefore purchased a classic vertical tube feeder Discovery Window Seed Bird Feeder which for some reason perplexed the tits. For several weeks, they hovered around it, but would not land on the perches.
I therefore tried this product - I put it up one the evening, and by 8.00 the next morning, the tits were using it - they really seem to like it as they can both sit on the perches, and put their heads in the large holes to select what they wish to eat.
As one...
Great bird feeder
This is a great little feeder but don't do what I did and attach it too close to a window sill or side wall/fence as a squirrel (I think) managed to grab it and knock it off the window and it broke. I've stuck it back together and have now placed it higher up the window and its fine.

Peanuts Wild Bird Food 25Kg Sack

Great quality, but...
Watch out for the sacks. They're made from that hemp-like material, which has lots of space in the weaving. Typically my supply lasts a long time, and I've had a problem with an infestation of moths because of this sack. They get in there, lay the eggs, and the larvae feed on the plentiful supply of peanuts.

Eventually they weave little silk-strand cocoons and turn into moths themselves. They are a nightmare to get rid of if they get into the house though - they eat cereals, rice, flour (they love flour!), pasta, clothes... the list is endless. It's not nice to see little wormy things in your food when you're hungry.

So to summarise - keep the sack outdoors and you'll be ok.

Extra Select Cheep and Chirpy Wild Bird Mix 20 Kg

Not so chirpy
I thought I'd give this one a try, given the price.
On opening the bag, there was a fairly stale/musty smell, making me think it had been in storage in a grain warehouse somewhere for a loooong time.
It appears my tweets and squirrels agreed.
Even the wood pigeons (flying rats!) and corbies left the majority of this.
Will not be buying again.
Very cheap as the name suggests
Unfortunately it is a little bit of a false economy as there is a lot of waste in the seed and the birds are not as keen on it. Not something I will purchase again.
Bird Food
I liked the price, but the birds were not keen on the product, the pigeons stoped coming to our garden.

Cedar Bird Nest Box & Bird Nest Box Colour Camera with Audio

Brilliant!
I bought this for my mum because she always wanted to see what goes on inside a Bird nest box. The box arrived with the nest box and camera all set up ready to go - the quality looks very good indeed and lots of information leaflets suggesting where to put the box and how to clean it etc. Its the same as connecting a normal camera to your tv - picture is great and the nest box is really cool.
Just need some birds to start nesting now!
excellent value
When the box arrived I was very pleased with the quality and everything that came with it, the camera is excellent the colour is good also the audio is very good. I am looking forward to seeing birds in their home...
Well made Nest Box
This is a very substantial nest box and was bought as a gift which was received with great delight and surprise. Very good value and the whole transaction was excellent.

Nuttery Squirrel Proof Globe Bird Seed Feeder

FINE so far
Squirrel had a go first night it was in use, tried to unhook it and got the top partly open, but obviously gave up.
Changed the hooking up system and so far it seems OK.
Best for smaller birds - tits, wagtails, nut hatches and even the robin use it - the pigeons have to put up with clearing up any spilt seed etc from the ground - so that's a good point.
It Works!
Grey squirrels have gradually been taking over from the delightful reds in the woodland surrounding my home and now they've discovered my bird feeders. I bought this globe feeder a few weeks ago and after a few days of amusement watching the wee beasties try to break in they've now given up. The small birds love it. It hangs right outside my kitchen window so I can see how easily they come and go from it. In fact within 10 minutes of hanging it up a young great tit went straight in followed shortly by numerous great tits, blue tits and coal tits. Sparrows and chaffinches also have no problem with it. Only the squirrels can't get into it! A sturdy, well built feeder I'd happily recommend to anyone with a pesky squirrel problem.
best seed feeder
this feeder is great. Its sturdy, easy to refill. Squirrels can't get the top off - though they tried.
Squirrels can't get in. Even shaking the feeder not too many seeds fall out.
Finches, Robins and smaller birds delight in it, at times I had 5-7 in the feeder and in the surrounding branches of the
tree more birds have been waiting for their turn.
The seeds stay dry. Fallen seeds are caught on the bottom tray, which squirrels at times try to reach through shaking - a minor annoyance.
The cleaning is easy, though I think for perfection this feeder could be improved by getting an easy to remove mechanism to remove the plastic tube for more thorough cleaning.
Had this product for years- excellent.

Wildlife World Bempton Bird Table

Looks great but watch the quality
Purchased two of these bird tables, they look great in the garden. However after 6 weeks one of them developed a smal patch of black mould. Within another 2 weeks most of the pale green paint work was affected.
Amazon did their usual and providing great customer service, a replacement arrived in 2days. - after 2months replacement seems OK
Bempton bird table
I bought this for my wife who is delighted with it.It is definetely one of the most prettiest tables around and looks lovely in our garden. My wife hung it on a branch on one of the smaller trees as it is not too heavy, but it is definetely sturdy and hopefully will withstand the Scottish weather! Small birds can easily access inside and seem to enjoy feeding from it. Overall a really nice purchase and a very reasonable price.
Fell apart and hit my head ,
Badly constructed ,not secure and thin wood that split screw came right thro and table fell on my head reported to amazon but not a word from makers ,,,,,,,very poor and no consideration or apology , wont be back

LUXURY WILD BIRD FEEDING STATION BIRD FEEDER TABLE SEED TRAY NEW

Luxury Bird Feeding Stand.......
Easy to put together, did not take long, taller than our other stand so the birds like it further from the ground. The birds now think it is the HILTON.More birds turning up to use it,they like to perch on the tall arches, then go down to the food...M. Titlemouse
Excellent value for money feeding station
I would highly recommend this bird feeding station as it is excellent value for money, very sturdy and aesthetically pleasing, with a deep bronze finish. It offers more hooks for hanging feeders than many others I have seen online for a similar price, with 4 for the top of the feeder, plus an additional hanging bracket which you can add if you want. The feeder arrived within 3 days and was very simple to put together. I would advise putting the bottom pole at least halfway into the ground, as this feeder is fairly tall and can sway a bit in the wind or when heavier birds land on it if not securely anchored. Birds seem to really like it and started using it almost immediately, with the bigger ones like doves and blackbirds using the feeding tray whilst sparrows, finches, blue tits and starlings use the hanging feeders. Unfortunately the squirrels are also quite keen on it, so I would advise not putting it too near fences.

Definitely worth the money for the enjoyment of...
Just great
Just a great item the birds love it ! Easy to put together and well made to I would buy another one for the back garden.
