Well...the dog likes it!
Having tried another Iams feed, we've been given two older cats this mix. Not exactly with much success. I've tried mixing it with tinned food, adding water and mushing it together which helps but given straight from the pack as dried food seems a real turn off for them. Well... would we eat dried food like this every day! Given that the cats only pick at it and leave it,then inevitably our dog steps in to finish it off. Mind you, he'll eat anything, including cow dung so that's not exactly a glowing testament to Iams I suppose!
So far so good
I recently picked up a rescue cat from the cats protection league.
Poor little thing is blind and deaf and nobody seems to know how old she is.
I got this to try, i received 1 bag of 2.5kg and so far she seems to eat it.
It says it lasts 37 days, i am not sure that is entirely accurate, but i will keep her on it and see how long it lasts and update the review then.
So far she has been on it twice a day for 5 days and its eaten every time.
Not sure what else i can say..
Super-Food for your Puss!
I've written at length many times before of my love for my little friend and companion, Button, my beautiful little female black cat. She's thirteen years old as I write, and all her life I've fed her a mixture of wet food (Whiskas pouches), and dry food - chiefly Iams, or as I refer to it, 'the real Iams'.
Of course there are more attractive dry foods out there - some offering a multicovered handful, rather like smarties, as opposed to the rather boring-looking dark brown pellets here, and there are certainly CHEAPER ones.
But that's not the point. Specially formulated for 'mature' cats - i.e. those over seven years old - I feel happy that this product is providing my little ball of fur with the optimum diet and selection of vitamins and minerals available to prolong her life and/or keep her in the best health possible.
If you share my love of pussy cats, then you need to give serious consideration to optimising their diet - and this may just about be...
