useless piece...do not bother urself with this
I got it against foxes in my garden,but this thing does NOT work. It says we have to wait 14 or even more days to take effect. I can say, after 2 months of usage the foxes still organising parties and feasts in front of this device. They constantly foul 5 cm front of it!! They cant be bothered... My advise: get something else. DO NOT waste your money on it!! I bought fence spikes instead. Since I put them up, the foxes seem to abandon my garden a bit....

Mine is going back today.Fox family of 8 just did not take any notice of this at all. I changed battery 4 times in last 45 days thinking as they play around lot in the garden it must trigger it regularly.

I bought a PestBye Advanced Fox Scarer a month ago. It didn't look much when it arrived but it was simple to set up and activate. My aged mother had a serious problem with up to four urban foxes in her back garden every night. Amazingly, despite being pretty sceptical that it would do any good, the fox scarer has worked a treat and within a couple of days of installing it all the foxes disappeared and have not come back! So if you have this problem I would say it is definitely worth a shot.

OK and here is an update! The batteries ran out last week ( c 6 months operation ) and within 2 nights the foxes returned after being away since this thing was installed. We renewed the batteries and it worked again. This is a really weird piece of kit but on the South coast of England it does work!
My 93 year old mother now has an issue with the foxes moving to the bottom of her garden , I would say 60 meters away, so I am buying a second one of these and will let you know what...
