10KG MALTBYS STORES SUET PELLETS WITH INSECTS WILD BIRD FOOD

Good
These are better than others I have used, not so powdery as others, slightly firmer with a lot less waste.
The birds like these a lot, sometimes even turning their noses up at the worms alongside them !!!!!!
Good price with a good delivery time, I'm using Maltbys more and more for my bird food as the product seems to be better than most.
Birds love it
Great product and great service and delivery. The birds cant wait to get to it, and the starlings are feeding their young with it at the moment.
Birds prefer them
I have put these out along with insect pellets from Twootz and the birds in my garden pick these out from the mix before going on to the others. They would get 5 stars if the price was more in line with the Twootz but despite this they are the preferred purchase at present

12.5kg Dawn Chorus Berry Suet Pellets

Oh dear
the birds go mad for this but I found it very unstable. it crumbles too easily, does on hold shape and coated the bird table in a greasy quagmire.I would not recommend it.
very happy garden birds now
Good product, looks good quality, nice colour (pink) not crumbly, so easy to pour in feeder. I use a jug for ease & put feeder in a bag to catch any spillage. The birds love it. They can eat a feeder worth in about 3days! Lovely to watch the starlings etc eating these. Came in a plastic bag inside a compact cardboard box. Delivery was good & I'm pleased with price.Much cheaper than buying small bags. Am going to order more right now! Like to help our feathered friends out, especially in the winter. This will keep them fed, warm & healthy.
Good value
We used this company for the first time to buy our berry suet pellets. Price very good and service first class, will use again.

Chapelwood 50 Tub Suet Balls

Feeding the birds
Arrived promptly and well packed. The bucket they came is useful too and the birds enjoy the food.
They are not in nets, as are some fatballs, and that might be an improvement.
great value
incredible value good quality product . I paid six pounds at a garden center for four coconut halves filled with lard cake , for less than double got a bucket full of the things. Highly recommend.
BIRDS LOVE IT!
They can't get enough!!! Suspect I'll have to re-order soon. Whole process from order to delivery was 'spot on'.

Chapelwood Wild Bird Suet Balls 75 Box

Gone in 60 Seconds!
Well, not quite gone in 60 seconds, but the birds couldn't get stuck in quickly enough! They absolutely love these suet balls! I have two large feeders that hold 20 of these in total, and they were scoffed in just a day and a half! You'd think that that was all I was feeding them with, but I put out a whole range of foods. My only concern is...how on Earth do I keep up the supply?! Highly recommended.
Suet Balls
Good product, birds seem to enjoy them! There are no plastic nets on suet balls which are good if you put them into a feeder, creating less waste.
same but more
The same lovely quality suet balls as in the 50 tub only more. Works out slightly cheaper though you do get a bit of breakage in the box. The birds don't lose out , just put the crumby bits on the bird table. Great value way to buy.

12.5kg Dawn Chorus Mealworm Suet Pellets

REALLY GOOD VALUE - MY BIRDS LOVE THEM
I have been ordering this product repeatedly for about a year now. I was spending so much money on suet pellets that I had to find a supplier that could offer a good product at a good price and that is just what I have found with Twootz. These are the best priced pellets I have found and they are just as good quality as others I have bought elsewhere over the years. Most importantly my birds love them. They arrive in a big plastic bag inside a box but I would recommend transferring them to an airtight container.
Disappointed
This item arrived poorly packaged. Not enough parcel tape to prevent the top flaps of the cardboard box from popping open. Suet pellets had not escaped from their inner packing, however. Pellets much smaller and different colour to RSPCA pellets I had bought previously. Also, worryingly the birds are not eating the pellets. They have eaten the last of the RSPCA pellets and left these new ones.
Fairly good value
We were a little disappointed with this product as the pellets were smaller than other we have purchased elsewhere and the packaging was very poor. The boxes when received looked as if they had just been thrown into the delivery vehicle.
On the plus side the birds seem to be happy eating them.

Harrisons Wild Bird Premium Fat Balls x 100 High Energy Food For The Winter

Party in My Garden!
100 Fat Balls For Wild Birds

I really like these Fat Balls. I have lots of birds coming into my garden so I need lots to feed them but at a good price. These balls fit the bill. All the birds go straight for them. They're filled with different goodies - something for every bird. Whatever else I put out on the table or in the trees, the birds go first to the fat balls. The activity and noise levels go crazy when I refill the ball-holder. A real Party in My Garden!
FAVOURITE FOOD
THE BIRDS SIMPLY LOVE THESE FAT BALLS AND HAVE EATEN THEM ALL UP IN A FEW WEEKS. NOW HAVE TO GET SOME MORE. NOT SURE WE CAN KEEP UP THE PACE.
Great value
The birds (and squirrels) love these fat balls. As they come in a large bag some do break and crumble, but these leftovers make a good sprinkle for a bird table or for ground feeding. 100 won't last that long, but very good value.

Dawn Chorus 12.55Kg Fat Balls approx 150 balls (No Net)

Good value? .... not so sure but the Company reaction was excellent.
We normally get our suet fat balls from the RSPB. Slightly more expensive I know but it terms of overall diameter they are certainly bigger and heavier. I reckon that from them each ball weighs in at approx 90-95g's. These fat balls are very small. I would guess, and it is a guess, that these fat balls weigh about 75-80g's per ball. Take that together with the wastage factor, that is to say the number of crushed suet balls at the base of the very primitive cardboard delivery box that they are packaged in, and it works out certainly more expensive that perhaps another brand sold here on Amazon, or indeed from the RSPB, at around 17p per ball. For the price we paid it does not take a genius to work out that these smaller fat balls work out at exactly 16p per fat ball, incl p+p, and assuming that there are indeed 150 fat balls in the box, given that they all appear to be all thrown in there with a rather excessive amount of fat ball crumbs together with crushed balls in the bottom of the...
Fat balls
These were quite soft and crumbled . So a large quantity were just mush in the bottom of the box. Would not recommend them
Bird Feast
These are cheaper than fat balls bought locally from garden centres or pet shops and the birds certainly love them. They encourage into the garden every type of tit, reed buntings, greater spotted woodpecker, etc. Blackbirds have mastered the art of clinging on to the feeders and we even get a jay visiting us regularly to feed on the balls. Yes - some are messy eaters but what they drop is eaten by ground feeding birds.
Excellent service from 'twootz' too. We received our order a mere 27 hours of placing theorder via amazon.co.uk

Dawn Chorus Insect Fat Feast For Wild Birds (12 pack)

Bird Fat Feast
They disappear VERY quickly, the birds love them! Blue tits are using it to feed their chicks, love watching them.
Dawn Chorus Insect Fat Feast For Wild Birds (12 pack) Twootz

12.5kg Dawn Chorus Insect Suet Pellets

Birds off song!!!!
Very disappointed, dried out and dusty. Possible wrong mix in manufacture?? Not enough suet to bind it together. Turning to dust.
Quickly turns to dust
These arrived quickly, and appeared well packaged. However, when I opened the box, the very thin plastic bag split and pellets went everywhere. Once swept up, and put into decent containers, I found that the pellets crumbled with use and left a large amount of pellet dust. Despite this, the birds seemed to like them.
They eat it, eventually
Cheaper than other pellets I have been buying but not as popular with the birds. Given the choice between these and some from Maltby's the birds pick out the Maltby's first and only after those are finished do they start to eat these. Given the cold weather they will eat them but they are certainly not cleared as fast as the others. Good price and since the carrier changed fast delivery but obviously my birds don't rate them as good as some other insect pellets. Perhaps they have just become too fussy but I think I will pay the extra to keep them happy

300 Un-Netted Fat Balls For Wild Birds (150 pack x 2)

Wow! Now Need To Buy 300 As The Birds Love Them So Much!
Twootz are a good company to deal with. Although, like with other fat balls, some seem to crumble and disintegrate and I did find on a buy of 150 balls there were a few crumbled ones on the bottom of the box and I thought it was a few short (but maybe the crumbled ones). I contacted Twootz and they kindly sent me a box of large balls free. These ones are not prone to crumble so I will put these ones out when I go on holiday so they don't run out so soon. I found Twootz to be very generous and the birds can't get enough of them so I'm now having to buy my largest batch ever, 300 balls! Not only do I save by having free postage but they only work out to be under 14p a ball which, by my reckoning, is a saving all round so won't have to think of more purchases in a while. Well done Twootz!
Excellent
Good quality fat balls at a very good price, yes there are some broken ones and some crumbs in the box but we mix the crumbs with seed and put broken ones out for ground feeding birds. A big plus is these balls are not in nets or wrapped individually which is a real pain when you use proper fat ball feeders.
great value
Great value product and good prompt service. Particularly like the fact that the fat balls aren't contained in nets. The birds obviously love them too.
