Was very impressed with this product, delivery said beween 3-5 days and got it in 2! The price was the cheapest i found where pets at home same size was 40.00. Got it for my 2 guineapigs for inside over the winter, and they are much happier in the warm running around. Size is good for the smaller animals. Overall nothing bad to say about it!

Habitrail Ovo Loft - Large Hamster Cage System

Amazing cage.
I got this cage as a surprise from my parents.I have loved it ever since.I love it because it keeps my hamster safe and I love the fact you can add things on.My only problem is the water bottle which leaks,but is simply sorted out by wiping it out after putting it in.So I totally recommend this cage.

I got this cage about a week ago and I love it. I added it on to the other Habitrail cage that I had to give my hamster more room and she loves it and uses it as her play area. What I really love about this cage is that I can always see where my hamster is and what she is doing and that I can keep adding to it. I would definately buy this cage again if I was to have more hamsters or other small animals. It works really well and is so easy to clean and provides my hamster with loads of space.

Amazing cage - Hamster loves it
I was a bit apprehensive about getting this cage after reading some bad reviews - particularly the ones saying their hamsters chewed through the plastic and escaped - My hamsters first cage was a small metal barred one and he hated it, he constantly chewed at the bars trying to escape. He loves the Habitrail - he does not chew anymore and theres lots of add ons for him to explore. I think the habitrial loft is much better than the ovo - the ovo looks tiny and the loft is a good size particularly with the add ons. For anyone not sure i'd say get it - i did and i couldnt be happier.

Cage does look good for a hamster, but i have to say better instructions would be good to put the cage together since its rather hard!! Fast delivery however was dispatched within 1 hour of ordering!!

Lovely product but building instructions far from clear.Took a while to figure out what went where but once built was good. I would buy it again but definitely requires better building instructions.
Doors open really easily
My son chose this cage because it looked good and he thought it looked like it would be fun for his first hamster. After reading prev reviews was a bit worried it would be difficult to build but its actually fairly easy to put together apart from the tubes which take a bit of patience. The cage can be taken apart and thoroughly cleaned and, once you have built it once and know what your doing, easy to put back together. The plastic is quite robust too. However, from the start the doors were very loose so tried to tighten with pliers and fastened with bulldog clips and other things and thought we had it cracked, unfortunately not. Five weeks in we've got one missing hamster and one v. unhappy little boy. Door design for hamsters is obviously hugely important but the ones on this cage are useless. Also the wheels wouldn't be big enough for a fully grown syrian hamster and I was looking for a replacement wheel. No point now though :(

Hagen Large Zoozone Indoor Rabbit/Guinea Pig Cage

Perfect for me African Pygmy Hedgehog
I got this cage for my African Pygmy hedgehog at the suggestion of other owners. It's the perfect size for her and she loves it. It fits all her things in perfectly and provides her with ventilation.
Ok for one guinea pig, great for dwarf hamsters or syrian hamsters
This cage is ok for one single guinea pig but even with this size cage a pig should be given a run to exercise in as this is too small for that (a large folding doggy pen/rabbit run on the floor while you're in the house would be perfect)it also is poorly ventilated so its not even ideal for a guinea pig, a barred cage can be bought cheaper. This not for rabbits under any circumstances, a rabbit should be able to stand on its hind legs easily and stretch this wont allow for that.

This cage would be perfect for for a pair of dwarf hamsters, they would love it in here as the cage would give them loads of space! A syrian hamster would love this cage too, though for a syrian put some finer mesh over the lid or they will climb out! I own two of these and a lone dwarf in one and a syrian in the other.

I recently purchased this cage for my rabbit and it is a very good product. I had the same cage for my rabbit but in white but wanted a new one. It is a very good make and i engourage you to buy it. It is a good size and easy to clean out and move. Overall i am very pleased.

This is possibly the worst pet product I have come across in all my years having pets. It's flimsy, unsafe for the hamster and totally useless. My hamster is a small syrian hamster and can still barely manage to get up the stairs. Getting returned for a full refund. DO NOT BUY THIS CAGE!!
Bad cage
This cage is awful and rodents should not be housed in it. It is very difficult to put together and overall the product is very poor quality. Rodents should not be housed in cages with bared platforms as this harms them and can give them 'bumble foot'. The ladders do not fit the cage and are unusable as they slide around and fall. The wheel in this cage is far too small for a syrian hamster also. Just awful.

Do not buy this cage...it is poorly constructed, and does not fit together correctly, with barred floors able to be moved by a hamster, the ladders do not fit properly and cannot be secured to the cage! Very poor design.....returning cage to seller as not fit for purpose. Now they want me to pay for return....can see a long drawn out argument developing!!!! Seller please read the distance selling regulations act....You are responsiblr for all costs as the goods you supplied are not fit for purpose!!!!

RAT CAGE ZANZIBAR LARGE RODENT CAGE

did the job but not ideal for rats
A good value spacious cage if remove all the 'extras'. I liked the curved design at the top. It comes flat packed and quite easy to errect. The two draws are fiddly to clean, as for rats the kitty litter you need to use gets everywhere. I was disappointed with this cage because the wood used for the platforms and hay bale etc are not treated and smell strongly of pine, which is known to shorten the lives by causing respitary problems for rats. Also the bottom grill is not suitable for rats as they require a solid floor to stand on. Its probably better for degus or maybe chinchillas unless they are also sensitive to pine. The one i purchased did not come with the standard water bowl or food bowl, so ask advice from seller.
Cage OK with some mods - possibly not for adults
I bought this cage from a local store for my two new babies.
It's not so bad. It does have a wire floor. I took that out, and had to secure the trays so they can't push them out and escape (gaffa tape!) but aside from that it's not so bad. It's not huge (for two male rats) but will suit my juvies for a while. Because the floor is split into two trays, if you take the metal rack out it does reduce your floor space - you need hides that will fit in 1/2 the space (there's a lip). And you have to lift the big bits of garbage out before the trays will slide - but overall it's a lot better than when I've used tanks and you've had to shovel the lot out!
The hammock looks good but I've replaced it with my own. The hay feeder - GENIUS. I let my boys settle in too long so they're not so friendly now, and this gives them something to keep them busy all night. The odd... wooden... thing... well, god knows, but they like to climb on it :D
I will be looking for another cage, but for...
Worst Rat Cage ever!
I bought this cage , and was very disappointed with it. Here are my reasons:
1) Not easy to clean out
2) urine of rat gets absorbed into wood platforms , therefore it is very smelly.
3) faulty caging- the bars did not line up properly
4) the lid does not fasten on sercurly , so you can not lift it up by the handle at the top.
I really would NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAGE! You can get plenty of much better ones that are a lot cheaper and a lot better for the rat and for you.

Savic Hamster Sky Navy Blue Hamster Cage 80 X 50 X 50 Cm

Fantastic cage
We bought our original cage (a different brand) thinking it was very large, but it quickly became apparent that ours was a very active hamster and needed an even bigger cage. The trouble was finding one that was large based, rather than just tall as I don't like wire platforms. This cage fit the bill perfectly! It's huge (seriously, mark its size out on your floor) and hamster loves it. He spends ages running through the tube and sitting in the plastic hammock, and there's also plenty of room for toys. Even better is that the savic range are compatible with the Ferplast tubes, so we've just ordered a T shaped connector, a corner piece and the ferplast lab to add to his tubes above the cage.

The only thing I can't rate is the wheel. It looks good, but we already had a perfectly good one that we moved from the old cage, so I can't comment on how good that it, but if it's anything like the rest of the cage then it'll be very good.

Highly recommended.
Great Purchase
Although this cage is on the pricey side, it's huge and makes a great home for your hamster. It's good fun to watch him/her running around exploring and though my hamster was initially wary of the tubes, she now loves them. I didn't assemble the cage myself and my Mum said it didn't come with instructions but that it wasn't too hard to figure out how to put it together. One thing you do have to be careful of is the big front opening - I made the mistake of not closing it on the correct row of bars, leaving a gap for the hamster to try and escape. All in all I would definitely recomment this product.
Hamster heaven
Great cage. New hamster loves it. Feels secure in the tubes and cosy in his hammock. Its big so it took a couple of weeks before he got used to it and felt comfortable to roam around the downstairs part. The wheel is far too noisy - could hear it from the floor below and kept my little boy awake. Had to take it out and buy a silent one. The cage is big and takes up a lot of room in my sons bedroom but worth it to know hamsters got plenty of space to run around and explore.

Liberta Rabbit R4 Indoor Rabbit & Guinea Pig Cage

Quite frankly the worst product I have ever bought...
This cage is awful, I can't believe it meets any standards or was ever released as a product.

I threw all the objects within the cage, since they were useless - I'm not sure what some of them were, but certainly the toilet unit was too small, the water bottle was too small and the hay rack was utterly useless. The shelving unit was so difficult to attach, I threw that out as well.

But by far the worst thing about the cage is its propensity to collapse. Everytime I take the rabbit out, I inevitably have to reassemble the cage. This gets done probably four or five times a day, and the cage essentially breaks into component parts - the top comes off and needs to be rearranged to fit, rarely actually doing so in the way it is supposed to. The sides ledges are too small to hold the cage without it being knocked out of place by a rabbit leaning on it, and whenever any side of the cage is touched (even to open and close it) the cage folds in on itself, terrorising the...
too small for a rabbit
The minimum recommended size for a hutch/cage is 6' (180cm). In addition, a larger area is needed for daily execise. It is essential that your rabbit has the room to stretch in all directions. A rabbit cage/hutch that's too small can effect your rabbits health - causing spine problems, muscle wastage and obesity.

I have not found a cage big enough (only Ferplast Rabbit 160 Cage )so I recommend to buy the largest dog cage you can find! and make it 2 storey (its higher than rabbit cage) and let your bunny run around a lot...again if it can stay open 24/7 PERFECT :) Please research rabbits needs before you buy.
Indoor hutch
This cage is great dimensionally, easy to clean out and easy to construst as the sides come already conected it is a great indoor hutch for guinea pigs and rabbits alike,the company are helpful and attend to queries quicker than most internet companies they are both friendly and take the time to be as helpful as possible, when looking for an array of good quality animal products i would certainly recommend this is the website you visit first.

Well worth it
Ok, firstly, awesome service, I ordered yesterday and paid for standard (3-5) day delivery, but it arrived today!
The fault was the door on top opens inwards. I can fix that, and it doesn't effect the function. It has a couple of wonky bars.
Fit together easily, and came with some extra panels which I can use if anything ever breaks. Bunny already settled in.
Really impressed.
Great Cage
This cage is in use and both us and the guinea pigs are very pleased with it. We had to bring our little guinea pigs inside for the winter but we have only the area under the stairs to put them despite wanting to give them as much room as possible. Also price was an issue. This cage ticked all the boxes - space, and price and has been in use now for several months. It is a second so just for information I'll tell you the faults on this particular one. The base was cracked at one of the corners but this has not got worse. My husband has said he'll glue it somehow once we have found something safe for guinea pigs in case they nibble - even though it is only on the outside of the base. The base is also lighter than our other Ferplast cage base. The fault on the bars is that they are a little bent in places and not joined in some places. Nothing bad for the little pigs though. Because it is rejected, the finishing off process doesn't happen so all the ends of the bars are roughly finished...
Sharp edges
The cage is fine but there are sharp edges which caused injuries to children ( in school where I keep the rabbits) before i noticed them.

Home N Play Deluxe Hamster Cage

Ours is good...
Have one of these (bought from an alternative source to Amazon). While it is a little tricky to put together due to the way its made, its more than robust enough for purpose, and easy enough to take apart for cleaning and reassembly (unlike our other fancy Habitrail cage, which while impressive and more expensive is a pain to clean out).
I can't help but feel however that some of the reviewers are some how 'doing it wrong' or got unlucky on the quality checking as we've got a pair of Roborovski Hamsters aka 'The Smallest of all Hamsters' and theres no way they can fit through the bars or the edges.
It's not to bad
After seeing some reviews about this i wasn't sure what to expect but. when i got it and put my Daughters hampster in itwas alright.. there is gaps at each corner but my hampster cannot get out of it.. the ''front door'' is very stiff we use the top hatch to get hampster out.. but apart from that my hampster loves this... i would say a very good buy
DWARF HAMSTER
Ideal for a dwarf hamster def or a baby hamster to start off. The wire is a bit tricky to push into base - but does go with a push. Good little complete set.

We are so delighted with this cage - and so is our Syrian hamster. Really quite simple to assemble, loads of activities and plenty of space for your hammy to run around in. A couple of words of warning though - cage comes with no instructions, be very careful to make sure that all the connections are tight on the tubes before introducing your hamster or it may become disconnected and your hamster will escape!!! Also, the manufacturer states that it is suitable for dwarf hamsters - I would say definitely not - they may be able to squeeze through the bars on this cage. - Otherwise a fantastic buy and we would highly recommend this best cage on the market today.

The cage is amazing never had hamster before had everything else ! but wanted the best one so read reviews and got this ! Its tad fiddley and you need bit help especially attaching the penthouse part. it comes with loads of stuff the wheel is large enough as i had read reviews saying was too small? You must be patient putting the tubes together as they have small hinge and just gently line the tube up if you force it will break, take your time. completely fab cage for syrians pheobe my new pet will love it im sure !!! comes with no instructions, but if you refer to the photos that comes with it you'll sharp be up and running. I've read reviews about this cage about hamster escaping I've got 2 of these cages now and nether of my syrians have broke free! Plus I disagree that it's not suitable for dwarfs as I've now got 2 Russians cambells hamsters in and it's perfect. Make sure your tubes and squares are correctly fitted and firm.

this cage was bought for our 8 week old border collie, we have had him 2 weeks now and he is getting used to it, he did nt like it at first and couldnt wait to get out of it, when he first went in it at night we came downstairs to find he had got out of it so we have to put a padlock on it to prevent him from opening it, but all in all this was a good buy well worth the money and the free bedding a bonus...
Excellent quality & value
This crate has served its purpose very well, it's the perfect size for our Staffordshire Bull Terrier, she often retreats here when she wants some peace and quiet. It appears to be strong, there are no sharp edges and it collapses in a matter of seconds for transport. The bedding isn't really thick enough to be used on its own but it's a welcome addition never the less, used in conjunction with another cushion it appears to be very comfortable indeed. The sticky roller for dog hairs was a nice touch too. Very pleased with the product and the included extras.

3 Tier Ferret/Rat/Chinchilla/Degu Cage

does what it says on the box.
quick delivery, fair price can not quible. I keep 3 ferrets in this, they love it. Was a nightmare to assemble at first as the instructions are naff, but once you understand the concept, it goes up like a house on fire.

I have three Degus, but one is a bit of a Houdini.
This is a lovely cage, and a good size and they love it.
It isn`t at all easy to put together as it needs more than one person. One person to hold the sides together, as it builds upwards and you need to slide the rods in to hold the corners together.
The Instructions are not very good, but once to start it dawns on you, but I printed out the picture from here of the cage to help.
Now it`s up and in use it`s lovely and escape proof. I just wish the doors opened outwards as it makes things a little difficult at times.
Excelent value for money
This was the cheapest of the 3 tier cages on offer yet it is very good value for money. Well made and sturdy.

Great value, Great Cage
This cage is so much cheaper than some of its rivals. I bought it for my childs guinea pigs, but they haven't ventured up the ramp yet. I have altered the ramp slightly to encourage them to climb safely. The base on the top cage is not that sturdy, but strong enough for small bunnies or guinea pigs. I am very pleased with my purchase.

Easipet Dog Puppy Folding Black Large 36" Metal Cage with 2 doors 21049

Excellent Value
We needed a second dog crate for my car, and the Ellie Bo one I had previously bought was unavailable. This is a lighter weight than the Ellie Bo one, but ideal for the car - and it collapses and sets up much more easily as the bars are thinner so have more give in them when trying to open and close the sides.

It fits perfectly in the back of my Toyota Corolla Verso with the second row of seats moved forwards - so we can get 5 people and the dog in. The size of the crate is ideal for my 6 month old Portuguese Water Dog - about the size of a large Springer Spaniel - with some room for him to grow to full size still.(a few inches taller).

The crate was delivered in a couple of days, and packed really well. It has 2 wire handles on top to help in moving it - the Ellie Bo one didn't, and that is more difficult to move anyway because it is heavier.

Given the choice I would go for this crate again, given the ease of collapsing/erecting, the easy of moving...

I am absolutely delighted with this cage, it's perfect. I have a very lively 5 year old Springer Spaniel who is more than happy to sit quietly in the cage whilst in the back of my car. The car is a Peugeot 306 estate (51 plate) and it fits perfectly with enough room either side for a couple of bags. Very easy to put together and robust - well worth the money I paid. I initially bought the 42" but this was too big and would not fit in my car so I returned it. I also purchased the small water bowl which fits on the side - very useful and ideal for purpose. On the whole, I am very pleased with my purchase - as is my Spaniel - and I would recommend it to anyone.

ordered this crate on jan 12 and it came jan 13 brill saved my sanity my puppy was chewing his way through wallpaper and cupboards and seems to have taken to the crate very well i would definately recomend this to all puppy owners

Strong carrier and good value for money
Read the review about the crate being right size for a cocker spaniel and decided to buy it as it is a Cocker we have. Delivery was next day which was brilliant. Crate is sturdy, easy to assemble and a good size for most medium sized dogs. Material looks strong and the inside seems easy to wipe clean. Just fits in the back doors of our Astra but fine once inside. Pleased with our purchase.

Abi Hamster Cage

Brilliant for my Syrian Hamster
This cage was amazing and easy to set up. It arrived flat packed but with no instructions so i had to look at the picture on Amazon to put it together right.
The clips that attach the layers were a bit fiddly and sometimes fall off so you have to make sure you check they are connected right.
My hamster loved it, and my hamster is a serial chewer! she got out of 2 of the other cages i had before this one.. she hasnt yet escaped out of this one and she hasnt tried to either because there is so much space for her to climb and play in.
Very easy to clean too, i love this cage.. it just needs a bit of improvement with the clips to ajoin the layers :)
