Do you research - great product
This is not a fix all product, but a very useful part of regular tank maintenance.
White spot and other illness are usually introduced with new fish ( get a quarantine tank) or through poor water quality.(read up on tank maintenance)

Seachem Prime was recommended to me by some very helpful and knowledgeable fish forums. (shame I cannot name here)
This has been in my 2 tanks for over a year now.
I have just started fish keeping again and am very much in the fish-less cycle camp. (for new starters if you think this is about gold fish on bikes, have a read on the nitrogen cycle :-) ).
I have not lost a single fish during start up and tank maturity.
The product has been especially useful when I adopted a complete tank from a friend. He kindly washed the gravel and changed the filter before I collected :-( .
This killed all the good bacteria and the tank went haywire. The Seachem used in triple doses safely detoxed the nitrite and ammonia spikes...

I chose this product as it was recommended to me from my other dechlorinator. I have a 95l tropical fish tank which I was changing the water a lot as I was doing a fish in cycle. I went through my last WD very quickly. I was told all I needed for 10l of water was 0.7ml. This was true. It doesn't seem a lot but it did the job.
This product also helps to detoxify ammonia and nitrite. I went longer within water changes with this product.
I totally recommend this to anyone who has a fish tank. I've had it now for over a month and not even used a quarter of the bottle. This will last for months if not years.
Prime Time
This is not the first time I have used Prime, so that in its self tells you I am a big fan of this product. It does an excllent job,and I would not be without it.
