Ladybird lover so wanted to encourage more & this hotel/house is great
Lovely light wood box with slots on the sides for access & a couple of fir cones inside. Has couple of stick on decorative ladybirds on the outside, nice touch but not essential. I put it up very easily using one nail (not supplied) 3 days ago about 2 foot off the ground on a fence panel just behind ballerina apple trees. I notice today I have several ladybirds & larvae on the trees so hopefully they will be checking into the new home soon for the longterm. (Make sure you don't kill/remove larvae by mistake, I looked it up online as it is easy to mistake them for unwanted bugs!I won't do that again!!)
Really pleased, in fact will probably buy another & fix up nearby. I also gave one to my parents & I will make sure they put theirs up asap. I will plant the seeds that came too at the right time of year, next year I may well buy some ladybirds/larvae to help get more ladybirds quicker. they are great for the garden eating aphids & other pests. I will be helping them by...

You get an awful lot for your money here, starting with a packet of seeds to 'lure' ladybirds to your garden in the first place. I assume you're meant to actually plant them as opposed to standing there and rattling them as some kind of percussion instrument, hoping for some red, black and white 'Beatles' tribute act to pop by for an impromptu jam session. We're talking about things like chives here, which it seems must be left to flower in order to really prove useful bait-wise. Hardly a problem really, in the grand scheme of...
Bought as a gift
Still waiting for feed back of the person who we have it to. As a vivid garden liver I hope it does the job intended.
