Patio stand
The patio stand is easy to put together and does the job of holding the bird feeding station straight. It is also easily moved to another location if need be and is heavy enough to maintain stability in high winds. It is a satisfactory alternative to simply sticking the feeding station poles straight into the ground.
Stand/base
I've bought this so that I can move the bird feeding station around rather than digging it into one area of the garden.It does the job and I move it a small amount each time I mow the lawn.This means that I have taken off the lowest part of the pole otherwise the station would be too high and difficult for me to replace food. The base is very sturdy but allows the pole to rock very gently- in other words it's not the tightest of fit even though there's a firm attachment. I don't know if it would also rock if I had dug the pole into the ground.
Gardman Wild Bird Feeding Station
Very pleased with the bird feeder stand - I originally just pushed the feeder into the ground but it wasn't ideal and the stand, which is very heavy, gives much needed stability. This was especially useful in very windy weather and when larger birds visit the feeder.
