Good solid small shelter
We use this as a small shelter for our rabbits fitted against the outdoor play pen specifically advertised with this shelter (see link below). It works perfectly in that context - the drop-down door does go neatly through into the pen. Nicely made and finished and is as good as pictured. If using for rabbits I recommend either resting a weight on the top, or adding a catch to the lid to stop them pushing up the lid and escaping! It's not big enough for a permanent home for rabbits - only as added shelter. See Large Rabbit Run Fox Proof Cage For use with Or without hutch.
excellent playhouse
This is the best little playhouse for two guinea pigs and a small rabbit I have ever bought, it is strong, waterproof, lightweight - so is easy to move around the lawn. Please note you must not let little pigs or bunnies live in this house it is purely a shelter when outdoors and for playtime indoors.
Amazing value
This hutch was far better than I expected, the price is fantastic and the product is better quality than I was preparing myself for.
A really nice touch is that they include additional fixings, not required at all, but always nice when you are given spares.
Regarding the negative reviews;
* The size is VERY clearly stated, how anyone can mark it down for being small I have no idea, get a measuring tape out!! It's easily large enough for 2 rabbits to sleep, of course not to live in.
* The 1 star reviews complaining about the roof hinge, and the gap at the bottom - this is because they put the panel on the wrong way round (cringe). Admittedly it does seem to be strange, as the rest of the panels are "pretty on the outside", however the back wall is suppoed to have the pretty side on the inside. It's really not very diffcult to work out. Initially I also built it the wrong way around, but then when I realised the hinge was wrong, it took me the grand total...
