Rubbish!!!
This is a complete and utter waste of money. The base is too small and as soon as you put water in it becomes top heavy. There is no way to fix it to the ground. Ours was in the garden less than 2 hours before a pidgeon landed on the side to drink and it toppled over snapping both joints in the stem. The cast iron is very thin and the fixing holes are too close too the edge so the slightest knock would snap the bolts out the side.
What a waste of money
This item shouldn't be advertised on Amazon because it is a complete and utter waste of money. It is made from cast iron so it rusts almost immediately once it is put in place.
Can't tell you how disappointed i am
Don't bother. It's rubbish.
I was very disappointed with this product as after only two day the bowl was covered in rust. The base rim was also rusted and stained the flag on which it was standing. The suppliers assertion that this rusting enhances the appearance of the birdbath I found staggering. Best left alone.
