Very good overall
I bought one of these for my cat.
First of all it is a durable and there are plenty of room for food. If you have more than one cat, both on the same diet and one does not bully the other out of the way, you could feed two cats from one compartment.
Both compartments can be operated independently.
Unlike other cat feeders, you can set it to the exact minute. This saves time because you do not have to be there the exact time every single day (most feeders only have an hourly setting, meaning that if you want it to go off at 3 pm you have to set it on the hour) and also it means that you do not have to work out how many hours there is until 4 pm for example. As you have to set the current day and time initially, you can programme the left dish to open at (for example) 7 am. Cat feeder disappointing
We bought this feeder as it generally had good reviews and wasn't a cheap product so though it would be robust. Although we had no problems setting it up, our cat managed to get one of the lids open within a couple of minutes. We sent the product back as considering it is supposed to withstand a dog's efforts to open we thought it must be faulty and the company were very good at replacing it. However it is obviously just a fact that if your animal wants to lift up the lids and get to the food it can, as our cat had no problem doing it with the replaced item within seconds of me putting it down. So for us it has not been succussful.
Great product!
Use this quite a lot as my work can keep me out a few hours and it has been fab! The wrong instructions were enclosed but it was easy to figure out and if I fill the bottom with water and put an ice pack in it, it keeps food cool. Would recommend
