Terra Cricket Feeder
I bought this product to release crickets over a period of time in my vivarium rather than feeding a few at a time by hand. The tricky thing is getting the crickets in and to stay put while it is loaded. Once achieved, they slow release through a hole in the side of the feeder and the rate depends upon the individual insect concerned. Some crickets crawl out fairly quickly, others stay put for hours, and our bearded dragon seems to enjoy the more natural feeding routine. I load it up with 6 - 10 at a time depending on how lively they are. Supplement powder can be placed in the feeder prior to loading and a gentle shake with the lid on coats the crickets before they exit, there is also a bung, which can be left in until slow release is required which is useful because the crickets settle in the dark and crawl out slower once the bung is removed.
Very useful accessory, recommended.
Exo Terra Reptile Cricket Feeder
Looks good but as the other reviewer pointed out ,,,its a pain to get the crickets in a to stay put ..( it was a laugh to see the wife screaming cos about 5 crickets got loose while i was filling !!!) LOL good job it was a present really.
rubbish design
Poor design crickets hide underneath it making it relatively impossible for some lizards to catch them namely ones that don't eat large amounts , possitively tho it looks nice
