Novel but high quality
Often novelty products although appealing in concept are poorly executed -this dish is an exception. It is very well made and seems durable - the two stainless steel dishes are sturdy and just the right size for our two young cats. The main body is also well crafted and the extended tail of the "cat" makes the dish very easy to pick up and keep clean. Overall, a very good quality and novel but practical product. Recommended.
Great cat bowl!!
Saw this cat bowl and really liked it. Was a little put off by the price until a helpful chum pointed out I only needed to buy one, once. That sold it to me and I now have one and it's great. Both cats love it. It's wide enough that they can both eat at the same time without being jostled out of the way. The stainless steel inserts are handy as they come out individually for cleaning etc. On top of that it looks cool. I'm really plased with it.

A new convert to the House of Alessi, I am surprised that this has passed me by for so long without being bought, either by myself of a friend as a gift as it makes bending down to pick up bowls a thing of the past!
Made of sturdy plastic, the cats tail stands about 12" high, and is between two balanced bowls, one for food water maybe, or biscuits... and has removeable highly polished steel liners that sit very neatly inside.
If there was a moan at all, it would be that the bowls are maybe a little small, as the cat figure is more kitten sized to be honest, however this is a small quibble as if you are going to pay this much for a bowl you will probably not mind feeding or watering your cat twice a day!
