This was not as well made as I was hoping it would be, but I do have high standards for my pets!

I purchased this as a food station for my resident hedgehog, having already purchased another brand of hedgehog house for his sleeping shelter.

On delivery the side panel had come away and had to be hammered back on and I found the entrance a little too large for a hedgehog - I actually discovered my cat with her head and shoulders through it trying to reach the food.

It is also not waterproof - after a few nights of rain the wood was soaking it up and showing signs of warping.

My hedgehog has now hibernated elsewhere, so I will bring the box in to dry and will have to have it weatherproofed, which is a bit of a pain.

On the plus side it looks really cute and the easy access with the liftable roof section is very handy.

Just don't purchase expecting to put in the garden and leave - a bit of work is required to acheive its...
SUPERB
The photograph and description of this product do not do it the justice it deserves. It has a totally removable lid, and the design and structure of it is superb. It is solid, and heavy. If I was a hedgehog, I'd certainly live in it!

Solid and heavy but poorly put together. It arrived in pieces, side panels had come away and the roof was in several bits. Needed complete rebuilding. The fixings did not give me any confidence that the house would last for long outside.
